Visual Elements & Symbolism
The central element of the design is the shield, or *campo*, of argent (silver/white). This background provides a clean canvas for the other heraldic elements and alludes to the meaning of the name "Bianchi" - "white."
Across the shield, a wavy band of azure (blue) flows horizontally. This "fascia ondata" is a significant visual element, often symbolizing water or the sea. Above this band, seven azure stars are displayed.
