Visual Elements & Composition

The horizon sits low, across the lower third of the image, so the sky takes most of the frame. Water is rendered in broken, dark brown strokes with touches of pale ochre catching light near the bottom edge. Above it, the color moves through deep rust and maroon clouds at the top, a luminous yellow-green band through the center, and vivid orange and red close to the horizon.
