Quartered Shield: A Tapestry of Meaning
The design features a shield, quartered in red (gules) and black (sable). Each quarter presents a unique symbol, contributing to the university's narrative.
- First Quarter: A gold (Or) castle, triple-towered, is carried on the back of a standing elephant, a nod to Coventry's city emblem and representing strength and historical significance.
